AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT BEGINNING WITH FISCAL YEAR 2002-2003, THE SCHOOL TAX MILLAGE LEVIED IN DILLON COUNTY IS INCREASED BY ONE ADDITIONAL MILL WITH THE PROCEEDS THEREFROM TO BE USED FOR NORTHEAST TECHNICAL COLLEGE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
School tax millage increased
SECTION 1. Beginning with fiscal year 2002-2003, the school tax millage levied in Dillon County is increased by one additional mill with the proceeds therefrom to be used for Northeast Technical College.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 4th day of June, 2002.
Approved the 24th day of June, 2002.
