Whereas, during his lifetime, Mr. Hubbard received many awards including the Distinguished Service Award from the Consulting Engineers of South Carolina in 1993 and the President's Award from the South Carolinians for Better Transportation in 1992. He was also named "Engineer of the Year" by three separate professional organizations. Mr. Hubbard served as chairman of the International Road Federation from 1995 to 1998; and

'Bud' Hubbard Memorial Bridge".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
