A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NAME THE BEAVER CREEK BRIDGE ON SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY 97 IN KERSHAW COUNTY IN HONOR OF THE LATE SENIOR TROOPER MICHAEL J. RAO AND TO INSTALL APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS ON THE BRIDGE CONTAINING THE WORDS "SENIOR TROOPER MICHAEL J. RAO BRIDGE".

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly, by this resolution, request the Department of Transportation to name the Beaver Creek Bridge on South Carolina Highway 97 in Kershaw County in honor of the late Senior Trooper Michael J. Rao and to install appropriate markers or signs on the bridge containing the words "Senior Trooper Michael J. Rao Bridge".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
