INVITATIONS AND MEMORIAL RESOLUTIONS

To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (H. 4086) to request the Department of Transportation to name the portion of South Carolina Highway 56 in Laurens County from its intersection with Interstate Highway 26 to the Enoree River Bridge, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NAME THE PORTION OF SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY 56 IN LAURENS COUNTY FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 26 TO THE ENOREE RIVER BRIDGE WHICH FORMS THE BOUNDARY BETWEEN LAURENS COUNTY AND SPARTANBURG COUNTY "DONNY WILDER HIGHWAY" AND TO ERECT APPROPRIATE SIGNS OR MARKERS ALONG THIS PORTION OF HIGHWAY CONTAINING THE WORDS "DONNY WILDER HIGHWAY".

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina request the Department of Transportation to name the portion of South Carolina Highway 56 in Laurens County from its intersection with Interstate Highway 26 to the Enoree River Bridge which forms the boundary between Laurens County and Spartanburg County "Donny Wilder Highway" and to erect appropriate signs or markers along this portion of highway containing the words "Donny Wilder Highway".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
