VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO EXPRESS THE CONGRATULATIONS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA TO MR. AND MRS. HESTER WILLIAMS OF BISHOPVILLE ON THE OCCASION OF THEIR FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY AND TO EXTEND TO THEM BEST WISHES FOR CONTINUED SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN THE YEARS TO COME.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives are honored to note the Fiftieth, and therefore Golden Wedding Anniversary, of Mr. and Mrs. Hester Williams of Bishopville; and
Whereas, this extraordinary milestone will be recognized by their children, family, and many friends at a grand dinner celebration to be held at the Bishopville Opera House on Saturday, March 6, 2004; and
Whereas, there is no greater success in life than a marriage and family life that endures the test of time and grows stronger with each passing year; and
Whereas, the long-lasting love and support of a spouse is unmatched in its importance and cannot be underestimated; and
Whereas, the companionship of a husband and wife over fifty years greatly enhances each person's quality of life and overall happiness creating a bond to be cherished; and
Whereas, Mr. and Mrs. Williams' commitment to each other over the past fifty years is to be revered and serves as an inspiration to both family and friends; and
Whereas, it is with great pleasure that the members of the House of Representatives pause in their deliberations in order to express their congratulations to these two outstanding South Carolinians on the occasion of this incredible and special milestone. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, express their congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Hester Williams on the occasion of their Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary and extend to them best wishes for continued success and happiness in the years to come.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. and Mrs. Hester Williams.
