Our thought for the day is from Job 19:25: "I know that my Redeemer lives."
Let us pray. Mighty God, help us to be aware of Your powerful presence as we go about the work given us. Share Your strengthening, comforting gifts in all the circumstances of our life. In the depths of life, keep us from being distracted by the things of this world. Give us the gift that helps us see truth in a way we could have never imagined. Hear us as we pray. Amen.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.

At 10:05 a.m. the House in accordance with the ruling of the SPEAKER adjourned to meet at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, March 18.
