Our thought for the day is from Psalm 33:4: "For the Word of the Lord is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness."
Let us pray. Most Gracious Lord, You have blessed us and sustained us through the days past. Be our strong guide as we continue to live and work under Your care. Give us strength to accomplish the work we have been given and lead us to always be grateful to You for Your Grace. Listen to our prayer. Amen.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.

At 10:15 a.m. the House in accordance with the ruling of the SPEAKER adjourned to meet at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, January 20.
