Our thought for today is from Jeremiah 31:3: "The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying, I have loved you with an everlasting love."
Let us pray. Lord God, be present today as we remember what You have done for us. Continue to be our guiding light and guide us through the day. Keep us in Your care. Bless those who lead our State and Nation. Protect our defenders of freedom and keep them safe. In Your name we pray. Amen.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.

At 10:05 a.m. the House in accordance with the ruling of the SPEAKER adjourned to meet at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, April 13.
