A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO AUTHORIZE THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE TO REVISE THE 2004 INDEX OF TAXPAYING ABILITY FOR PURPOSES OF ADJUSTING FOR A VALUATION ERROR IN ROCK HILL SCHOOL DISTRICT THREE OF YORK COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    For purposes of adjusting for a valuation error in Rock Hill School District Three of York County, the South Carolina Department of Revenue may revise the 2004 Index of Taxpaying Ability, as defined in Section 59-20-20(3) of the 1976 Code, for purposes of calculating the 2004 Index of Taxpaying Ability.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
