To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (H. 3204) to request the Department of Transportation to name the bridge that crosses the Lynches River along United States Highway 1 in honor of Judge Charles H. "Corkey" Pate, etc., respectfully
That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NAME THE BRIDGE THAT CROSSES THE LYNCHES RIVER ALONG UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 1 IN HONOR OF JUDGE CHARLES H. "CORKEY" PATE AND TO INSTALL APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS AT THE BRIDGE CONTAINING THE WORDS "CHARLES H. 'CORKEY' PATE BRIDGE".
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly request the Department of Transportation to name the bridge that crosses the Lynches River along United States Highway 1 in honor of Judge Charles H. "Corkey" Pate and to install appropriate markers or signs at the bridge containing the words "Charles H. 'Corkey' Pate Bridge".
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
