A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND MR. RICHARD L. "DICK" BEASLEY OF DARLINGTON COUNTY FOR HIS OUTSTANDING AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS OF DARLINGTON COUNTY.

Whereas, Richard L. "Dick" Beasley has been a pillar of his community throughout his life; and

Whereas, Mr. Beasley has been with the Carolina Bank and Trust since 1950 and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Trustees; and

Whereas, under his tenure at the Carolina Bank and Trust, Mr. Beasley has demonstrated his compassion and generosity by hosting a Christmas Party for underprivileged children for the past ten years; and

Whereas, Mr. Beasley has passed along his kindness and community interest to his sons, Rick Beasley, President of the Carolina Bank and Trust; Wes Beasley, Vice President of the Carolina Bank and Trust; and David Beasley, former Governor; and

Whereas, his strong presence, benevolent spirit, and friendly attitude have touched the lives of so many people in Darlington County and throughout the State; and

Whereas, it is with great pride that the members of the General Assembly recognize such an outstanding South Carolinian as Richard L. Beasley for his exceptional service to the citizens of his community, Darlington County, and the State. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and commend Mr. Richard L. "Dick" Beasley of Darlington County for his outstanding and dedicated service to the citizens of Darlington County.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mr. Richard L. "Dick" Beasley of Darlington County.
