A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO THE FAMILY OF MR. JAMES M. "JIM" SESSIONS OF CONWAY UPON HIS RECENT DEATH.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly were deeply saddened to learn of the recent death of James M. "Jim" Sessions of Conway on Monday, January 24, 2005; and

Whereas, Jim Sessions was a native of Conway and throughout his life was widely known and respected as a business and civic leader in Conway and Horry County; and

Whereas, he owned and operated Sessions Pest Control Company and was a member of University Baptist Church, Omar Shrine Club, the Road Runner Bass Club, and Conway Masonic Lodge #65 AFM; and

Whereas, he was above all a wonderful husband and father who always took great pride in his large and extended family; and

Whereas, at the passing of this fine man at the age of 69, the people of Conway and Horry County have lost a successful and well-respected businessman and good friend; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to extend their deepest sympathy to his wife, two daughters, and his family and many friends upon his death. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly express their deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. James M. "Jim" Sessions of Conway upon his recent death.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to his widow, Mrs. Ruth Brooks Sessions.
