CONGRATULATING MISS SOUTH CAROLINA 2004, ANN ASHLEY WOOD, AND THE LOVELY CONTESTANTS VYING FOR THE TITLE OF MISS SOUTH CAROLINA 2005, RECOGNIZING THEIR HARD WORK, DISCIPLINE, TALENT, AND AMBITION AND THEIR AMBASSADORSHIPS FOR THIS STATE AND THEIR HOME COUNTIES.
Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives are extremely proud to welcome and recognize Miss South Carolina 2004, Ann Ashley Wood, and all the contestants for the 2005 Miss South Carolina crown; and
Whereas, these talented young women exhibit natural beauty and possess an intrinsic drive ensuring their successes in all their endeavors; and
Whereas, although unique in individual dreams and ambitions, each has already made an impact on her community, often expending much extra effort and time to achieve academic and civic goals; and
Whereas, each contestant serves as a proud beacon for this State and her home county; and
Whereas, the reign of Miss South Carolina 2004, Ann Ashley Wood, gives each young woman a gracious and graceful role model for carrying out that important role; and
Whereas, it is with great pleasure that the members of the House of Representatives welcome Miss South Carolina 2004, Ann Ashley Wood, and the 2005 Miss South Carolina contestants, honor their accomplishments, and wish each contestant well in all future endeavors. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate Miss South Carolina 2004, Ann Ashley Wood, and the 2005 Miss South Carolina contestants, recognizing their hard work, discipline, talent, and ambition and their ambassadorships for this State and their home counties.
