TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION-BOARD OF NURSING, RELATING TO REPEAL OF DUPLICATIVE REGULATIONS INCLUDED IN THE NURSE PRACTICE ACT, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2973, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation-Board of Nursing, relating to Repeal of Duplicative Regulations included in the Nurse Practice Act, designated as Regulation Document Number 2973, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
The Board of Nursing is repealing Regulations 91-1 through 91-18, and 91-20 through 91-22 as duplicative of statutory provisions included in the Nurse Practice Act (Act 225 of 2004) and, therefore, no longer necessary as regulations. Regulation 91-19 remains the same.
