VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR MS. ISABELLE TAYLOR FLOYD OF HAMPTON COUNTY FOR HER LIFELONG SERVICE AND GENEROSITY TO HER CHURCH, HER COMMUNITY, AND THIS STATE.
Whereas, Ms. Floyd has unselfishly dedicated her entire life to serving the needs of other people and warming the hearts of all who cross her path; and
Whereas, she was born on March 7, 1927 in Gifford, South Carolina and was married to the late Richard Floyd; and
Whereas, Ms. Floyd has been truly blessed with an incredibly devoted family including eight loving children, twenty caring grandchildren, and eighteen warm-hearted great-grandchildren; and
Whereas, Ms. Floyd has a tremendous gift for cooking and loves nothing more than to share her kitchen creations with everyone around her; and
Whereas, she graciously serves the Lord as a member on the Senior Usher Board at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and continues to spread the gospel each and every passing day; and
Whereas, Isabelle has truly exemplified through all her service and compassion for others the true meaning of service and has helped make her community and this State a better place. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and honor Ms. Isabelle Taylor Floyd of Hampton County for her lifelong service and generosity to her church, her community, and this State.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Isabelle Taylor Floyd.
