VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO COMMEND THE DILLON CAMP OF GIDEONS INTERNATIONAL FOR ITS OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AND DEDICATED MINISTRY TO THE CITIZENS OF SOUTH CAROLINA.
Whereas, for over 100 years, Gideons International has worked tirelessly to provide bibles in many languages for people all over the world; and
Whereas, the Dillon, South Carolina Camp of Gideons was founded in 1983 and has consistently been ranked in the top ten camps in the United States in funds raised; and
Whereas, Jeff Price, Bruce Price, and the late Legrand Quick were instrumental in establishing many of the Gideon Camps in the Pee Dee area of South Carolina and have been faithful members of Gideon International since 1967. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate of South Carolina, by this resolution, commend the Dillon Camp of Gideons International for its outstanding leadership and dedicated ministry to the citizens of South Carolina.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Dillon Camp of Gideons.
