AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 1095 OF 1962, RELATING TO, AMONG OTHER THINGS, THE LOWER FLORENCE COUNTY HOSPITAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE BOARD, SO AS TO ADD THE POWER TO PLEDGE THE PROCEEDS FROM FUTURE REVENUES RECEIVED AS COLLATERAL FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECURING FINANCING NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN THE OPERATIONS OF THE HOSPITAL.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Power to pledge proceeds from future revenues authorized
SECTION 1. Section 5 of Act 1095 of 1962 is amended by adding at the end:
"(17) To pledge the proceeds from future revenues received by the hospital as collateral for the purposes of securing financing necessary to maintain the operations of the hospital."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 2nd day of June, 2005.
Approved the 7th day of June, 2005.
