Our thought for today is from Psalm 92:4: "For You make me glad by Your deeds, O Lord, I sing for joy at the works of Your hands."
Let us pray. God of creation, as You make the grass and the flowers, and the animals, so make us into Your new creations. O God, You have taught us that Your work on earth is done through the hands of Your people. Give us the wisdom to do the work of the people who chose us to work for them. Direct us in all that we do to honor Your name. Bless our President, our State, and leaders. Protect our defenders of freedom. Hear our prayer, O God. Amen.
After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.
