The House assembled at 10:00 a.m.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr. as follows:
Our thought for today is from Psalm 90:14: "O satisfy us with your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days."
Let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, bless us this day as we continue to work with others in solving problems, instituting ideas, satisfying others as we work for the good of this State. Provide us with the strength and will to do good works for the people. Bless our Nation, our President, our State and her leaders. Protect and keep safe our defenders of freedom. Hear us as we pray. Amen.
