To whom was referred a Bill (H. 3246) to amend Section 50-11-870, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to bird sanctuaries, so as to declare as a bird, etc., respectfully

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 50-11-870, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO BIRD SANCTUARIES, SO AS TO DECLARE AS A BIRD SANCTUARY THE GROUNDS OF THE PRESBYTERIAN HOME OF SOUTH CAROLINA LOCATED ON HIGHWAY 56 IN THE TOWN OF CLINTON IN LAURENS COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 50-11-870 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 294 of 1998, is further amended by inserting before the last paragraph:

"(33)    the grounds of the Presbyterian Home of South Carolina located on Highway 56 in the Town of Clinton in Laurens County."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
