To whom was referred a Bill (H. 3372) to amend Section 50-5-1705, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to catch limits for certain saltwater fish, so as to change the catch, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 50-5-1705, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO CATCH LIMITS FOR CERTAIN SALTWATER FISH, SO AS TO CHANGE THE CATCH LIMIT FOR RED DRUM FROM TWO TO FIVE IN ANY ONE DAY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 50-5-1705(D) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 105 of 2001, is further amended to read:

"(D)     It is unlawful for a person to take or have in possession more than two five red drum in any one day."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
