To whom was referred a Bill (S. 352) to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 57-23-810 so as to provide that the portion of roadside vegetation adjacent to Interstate, etc., respectfully

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 57-23-810 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE PORTION OF ROADSIDE VEGETATION ADJACENT TO INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 95 IN COLLETON COUNTY BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 52 AND 54 MAY BE MOWED BEYOND THIRTY FEET FROM THE PAVEMENT.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 17, Chapter 23, Title 57 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 57-23-810. Notwithstanding the provisions contained in Section 57-23-800, or another provision of law, the Department of Transportation may mow beyond thirty feet from the pavement roadside vegetation adjacent to Interstate Highway 95 in Colleton County between mile markers 52 and 54."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
