A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND BILL GALARDI FOR THE OUTSTANDING WORK HE HAS DONE ON BEHALF OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA, AND TO RECOGNIZE HIM FOR BEING NAMED THE STATE EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION'S MALE STATE EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR FOR THE RICHLAND AND LEXINGTON CHAPTER.

Whereas, it is with great pleasure that the House of Representatives honors individuals who give tirelessly of themselves in furtherance of this great state; and

Whereas, Bill Galardi, Male State Employee of the Year, certainly deserves this distinction, as the work he has done has greatly benefited not only the State Employees Association but also has made South Carolina a better place to work and live; and

Whereas, focusing many hours of time and effort as chairman of the State Employees Association Scholarship Committee, Mr. Galardi has overseen the process of awarding four scholarships to deserving recipients, and his careful leadership has been an invaluable asset to the committee; and

Whereas, Mr. Galardi faithfully attends meetings of the State Employee Association and is always willing to offer his time and talents on new projects when needed; and

Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives takes pride in recognizing individuals like Bill Galardi as model state employees, and encourages others to follow his example of excellence. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commend Bill Galardi for the outstanding work he has done on behalf of the State of South Carolina, and recognize him for being named the State Employees Association's Male State Employee of the Year for the Richland and Lexington Chapter.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Bill Galardi.
