The Senate assembled at 11:00 A.M., the hour to which it stood adjourned, and was called to order by the ACTING PRESIDENT, Senator COURSON.

MOTION ADOPTED

On motion of Senator FORD, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Mr. A. R. Blake of Charleston, S.C.

and

MOTION ADOPTED

On motion of Senator LAND, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Ms. Dottie Eadon McFaddin of Manning, S.C.

ADJOURNMENT

At 11:05 A.M., on motion of Senator LOURIE, the Senate adjourned to meet next Tuesday, January 25, 2005, at 12:00 Noon.
