A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, RELATING TO DRIVER SCHOOLS AND TRUCK DRIVER TRAINING SCHOOLS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 3125, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The regulations of the Department of Public Safety, relating to driver schools and truck driver training schools, designated as Regulation Document Number 3125, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

SUMMARY AS SUBMITTED

BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety is proposing to repeal Subarticles 7 & 9 of Article 3 of Chapter 38 of the Department's regulations. These regulations relate to driver training schools and commercial driver training schools. The Department of Motor Vehicles is updating these regulations and will be publishing new regulations under their regulation chapter.
