VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
CONGRATULATING THE WEST FLORENCE BOYS TENNIS TEAM FOR WINNING THE 2008 STATE AAAA TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE AND WISHING THEM MUCH LUCK IN THE FUTURE.
Whereas, with dedication and teamwork, the West Florence Boys Tennis Team finished the season with a 20-1 record, claiming the State AAAA Tennis Championship Title for the second straight year, and fourth in school history; and
Whereas, the victorious team boasts two All-State players, team captain Pruitt Williams and player Bobby Browning; and
Whereas, under the guidance of Coach Charles Nelson and Assistant Coach Jamie Magee, the team consists of players John Duncan, Christopher McKee, Rhys Miles, Pruitt Williams, Reed Williamson, Bobby Browning, Lucas Chase, Matthew Canelon, Price Gibson, Mark Andrews, Daniel Sechtin, Weston Bates, and John Fulp. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate the West Florence Boys Tennis Team for winning the 2008 State AAAA Tennis Championship Title and wish them much luck in the future.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the West Florence Boys Tennis Team.
