A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50-21-134 SO AS TO ESTABLISH A NO WAKE ZONE IN MOSQUITO CREEK IN COLLETON COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Chapter 21, Title 50 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 50-21-134.    (A)    There is established a no wake zone in Mosquito Creek in Colleton County between its intersection with the Ashepoo River and running north and east to the intersection of Mosquito Creek and Musselboro Creek.

(B)    The no wake zone boundaries must be clearly marked with signs. The signs must be designed and installed by the Department of Natural Resources."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
