A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 57-5-610 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT UNIMPROVED REAL PROPERTY, OWNED BY A STATE AGENCY AND LOCATED WITHIN THE FINAL APPROVED RIGHT-OF-WAY OF THE INTERSTATE 73 PROJECT IN SOUTH CAROLINA, IS HEREBY TRANSFERRED TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION UPON SUCH TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS THE STATE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD SHALL PROVIDE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Article 3, Chapter 5, Title 57 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 57-5-610.    Unimproved real property, owned by a state agency and located within the final approved right-of-way of the Interstate 73 project in South Carolina, is hereby transferred to the South Carolina Department of Transportation upon such terms and conditions as the State Budget and Control Board shall provide."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
