A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO FIX WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 2008, AS THE TIME TO ELECT SUCCESSORS TO THE THREE COMMISSIONERS FOR THE EMPLOYMENT SECURITY COMMISSION, WHOSE CURRENT TERMS EXPIRE JUNE 30, 2008, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING ANY OTHER ELECTIONS SCHEDULED FOR THAT DATE.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the Senate and the House of Representatives shall meet in joint assembly in the Hall of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, to elect successors to the three commissioners for the Employment Security Commission, whose current terms expire June 30, 2008, immediately following any other elections scheduled for that date.

Be it further resolved that all nominations must be made by the Chairman of the Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee and that no further nominating or seconding speeches may be made by members of the General Assembly on behalf of any candidate.
