To whom was referred a Bill (H. 4065) to amend Section 62-1-302, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to jurisdiction of the probate court, so as to add the word, etc., respectfully
That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

TO AMEND SECTION 62-1-302, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO JURISDICTION OF THE PROBATE COURT, SO AS TO ADD THE WORD "GENERAL" BEFORE "PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES" IN CONNECTION WITH FORMAL PROCEEDINGS FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 62-1-302(d)(1) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 132 of 2005, is further amended to read:
"(1) formal proceedings for the probate of wills and for the appointment of general personal representatives;"
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
