A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO HONOR AND RECOGNIZE TAYLOR MORRIS, OF SPARTANBURG COUNTY, AND TO CONGRATULATE HER UPON EARNING THE SOUTH CAROLINA PRETEEN NATIONAL TEENAGER TITLE.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives are pleased to learn that Taylor Morris of Inman has earned the title of South Carolina Preteen National Teenager; and

Whereas, the twelve-year-old daughter of Angela and Dwayne Morris, Taylor earned the title during the America National Teenager Scholarship Organization State Competition, and she will represent South Carolina in July at the national competition in Nashville, Tennessee; and

Whereas, in addition to winning the preteen division, she won three optional competitions in speech, talent, and supermodel, and she will be featured in an upcoming edition of Supermodels Unlimited Magazine; and

Whereas, a sixth-grade student at Spartanburg Christian Academy, Taylor is an active member of First Baptist North Spartanburg Church, and she is involved in community service that includes projects for Inman Healthcare Nursing Home and Mobile Meals of Spartanburg; and

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives pause to appreciate the fine contributions of Taylor Morris to her community and to commend her for being named South Carolina Preteen National Teenager. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and honor Taylor Morris, of Spartanburg County, and congratulate her upon earning the South Carolina Preteen National Teenager title.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Taylor Morris.
