TO CONGRATULATE ROBERT LEE BENNETT SPRINKLE IV, OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA'S OLD HICKORY COUNCIL, FOR ACHIEVING THE ELITE RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT, AND TO WISH HIM EVERY SUCCESS IN ALL HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, it is with great pride that the South Carolina House of Representatives recognizes the laudable achievements of young people, and among those youthful accomplishments that command the greatest respect is the attaining of the rank of Eagle Scout; and
Whereas, having proved himself worthy, Robert Lee Bennett Sprinkle IV, of the Boy Scouts of America's Old Hickory Council, has achieved this coveted rank of Eagle Scout, an award granted to only about five percent of all Boy Scouts; and
Whereas, to celebrate his accomplishment, Bennett, a member of Boy Scout Troop 749, was honored at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Sunday, May 31, 2008, at Ardmore Methodist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and
Whereas, the House of Representatives commends Bennett for this fine achievement, of which he may be justly proud. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate Robert Lee Bennett Sprinkle IV, of the Boy Scouts of America's Old Hickory Council, for achieving the elite rank of Eagle Scout, and wish him every success in all his future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Robert Lee Bennett Sprinkle IV.
