MOTION ADOPTED

On motion of Senators LEVENTIS and LAND, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Mr. William J. Flexon, beloved husband, father, son and friend. Mr. Flexon was taken from us tragically and too soon. He will be missed by all who loved him, including the many people on his pizza delivery route, for whom he always had a cheerful word, candy cane, or something else that brightened his customers' days. When not out on a delivery, Bill wished every customer who came into Sambino's a blessed day with a smile. While his death was a tragedy, it will be his life and his heart for others that will be what the people of Sumter will always remember.

ADJOURNMENT

At 11:15 A.M., on motion of Senator LOURIE, the Senate adjourned to meet next Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at 12:00 Noon.
