To whom was referred a Bill (S. 177) to amend Section 50-11-310 of the 1976 Code, relating to open season for antlered deer, to delete the prohibition of baiting for deer in Games Zones 1, etc., respectfully
That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

TO AMEND SECTION 50-11-310 OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO OPEN SEASON FOR ANTLERED DEER, TO DELETE THE PROHIBITION OF BAITING FOR DEER IN GAMES ZONES 1 AND 2.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 50-11-310(B) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 286 of 2008, is further amended to read:
"(B) In Game Zones 1 and 2, it is unlawful to pursue deer with dogs, and it is unlawful to bait for deer."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
