There is no fiscal impact on the General Fund of the State or on federal and/or other funds.

Kershaw County was contacted regarding the impact of this bill. The response will be forwarded upon receipt.

TO AMEND SECTION 22-2-190, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE COUNTY JURY AREA DESIGNATIONS FOR USE IN MAGISTRATES COURTS, SO AS TO REVISE THE JURY AREAS FOR KERSHAW COUNTY TO PROVIDE FOR ONE JURY AREA COUNTYWIDE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 22-2-190(28) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"(28) Kershaw County
DeKalb--Airport, Antioch, Camden Nos. 1-6, Cassatt, Charlotte Thompson, East Camden, Hermitage, Malvern Hill, Springdale, White's Garden, Riverdale
Buffalo--Bethune, Buffalo, Gates Ford
Flat Rock--Liberty Hill, Shaylor's Hill, Westville
Wateree--Doby's Mill, Elgin, Lugoff Nos. 1 and 2, Rabon's Crossroads, Salt Pond One jury area countywide"
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
