To whom was referred a Joint Resolution (S. 489) to approve regulations of the State Board of Education, relating to Assessment Program, designated as Regulation Document Number 4029, pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION, RELATING TO ASSESSMENT PROGRAM, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 4029, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The regulations of the State Board of Education, relating to Assessment Program, designated as Regulation Document Number 4029, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

The State Board of Education proposes to amend R 43-262 in response to amendments to the Education Accountability Act of 1998 (EAA), S.C. Code Ann. Section 59-18-310 (Supp. 2008).
