The Senate assembled at 11:00 A.M., the hour to which it stood adjourned, and was called to order by the ACTING PRESIDENT, Senator CROMER.

MOTION ADOPTED

On motion of Senators KNOTTS and SETZLER, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Mr. Bethea Richard Hook of West Columbia, S.C. Mr. Hook was a beloved husband of 62 years to Margie Eargle Hook, and a devoted father and doting grandfather.

ADJOURNMENT

At 11:10 A.M., on motion of Senator KNOTTS, the Senate adjourned to meet next Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at 12:00 Noon.
