Our thought for today is from Psalm 15:30: "The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, and good news refreshes the body."
Let us pray. Heavenly Father, let the light of Your love and compassion fill us with the desire to give help to those in need. We give You thanks for Your guidance and protection. Continue Your care of us as we do the work set before us. Grant us rest and peace for the tasks ahead. Bless our Nation, State, all leaders, and those who support them. Protect our defenders of freedom at home and abroad, as they protect us. Heal the wounds, those seen and those hidden, of our brave warriors. Hear us, O Lord, as we pray. Amen.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.
