TO AUTHORIZE THE YOUTH LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA UPSTATE TO USE THE HOUSE CHAMBER ON THURSDAY, JUNE 9, 2011, FROM 2:00 P.M. TO 4:00 P.M. FOR ITS MOCK LEGISLATIVE DEBATE. IF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES IS IN STATEWIDE SESSION, THE CHAMBER OF THE HOUSE MAY NOT BE USED.
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, authorize the Youth Leadership Institute of the University of South Carolina Upstate to use the House Chamber on Thursday, June 9, 2011, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for its mock legislative debate. If the House of Representatives is in statewide session, the Chamber of the House may not be used.
Be it further resolved that the State House Security Forces provide such assistance and access as necessary for this meeting in accordance with previous procedures.
Be it further resolved that no charges may be made for the use of the House Chamber by the Youth Leadership Institute on this date.
