TO AMEND SECTION 33-56-30 OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO REGISTRATION STATEMENTS FOR THE SOLICITATION OF CHARITABLE FUNDS, TO EXEMPT PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 33-56-30 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"(C) The provisions contained in this section do not apply to a public school district or to any public school located within the public school district."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
