TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF GREENVILLE HEALTH SYSTEM ON ITS DEDICATION TO PROVIDING OUTSTANDING MEDICAL CARE FOR EVERY CHILD.
Whereas, Children's Hospital of Greenville Health System (GHS), located in the Upstate of South Carolina, offers all the health care children need to stay close to home. Whether a convenient pediatric primary care practitioner or specialized services are needed, experienced and dedicated physicians are there when their young patients need them; and
Whereas, from primary care to specialty care, GHS Children's Hospital is dedicated to providing outstanding medical care for all children. Staff members consider the whole child, recognizing that a child's needs are not limited to the medical aspects of treatment. In addition, these compassionate medical personnel seek to serve the emotional well-being of both the child and the child's entire family; and
Whereas, Children's Hospital serves as the region's source for pediatric care. Board-certified physicians experienced in multiple pediatric subspecialties and advanced medicine treat more than 180,000 infants, children, and adolescents each year. Pediatric radiologists and anesthesiologists are on-site around the clock, providing expert care specifically tailored to the needs of children, including critically ill and premature newborns; and
Whereas, innovative care is delivered in a child-friendly environment that features pediatric-sized medical equipment and patient-room decor; and
Whereas, grateful for Children's Hospital of Greenville Health System's dedication to exceptional patient care, the House of Representatives takes great pleasure in recognizing the hospital's fine service. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and commend Children's Hospital of Greenville Health System on its dedication to providing outstanding medical care for every child.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be provided to Children's Hospital of Greenville Health System.
