The Senate assembled at 11:00 A.M., the hour to which it stood adjourned, and was called to order by the ACTING PRESIDENT, Senator SCOTT.
On motion of Senator McELVEEN, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Robert G. Sharp, 91, of Sumter, S.C. Mr. Sharp was the loving husband to May Clarke Bynum Sharp, devoted father and doting grandfather. He was involved in the family propane business and was active in community affairs.

On motion of Senators COLEMAN, PEELER, ALEXANDER, ALLEN, BENNETT, BRIGHT, BRYANT, CAMPBELL, CAMPSEN, CLEARY, CORBIN, COURSON, CROMER, DAVIS, FAIR, FORD, GREGORY, GROOMS, HAYES, HEMBREE, HUTTO, JACKSON, JOHNSON, LEATHERMAN, LOURIE, MALLOY, LARRY MARTIN, SHANE MARTIN, MASSEY, MATTHEWS, McELVEEN, McGILL, NICHOLSON, O'DELL, PINCKNEY, RANKIN, REESE, SCOTT, SETZLER, SHEALY, SHEHEEN, THURMOND, TURNER, VERDIN, WILLIAMS and YOUNG, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Ms. Mary Davis Price of Camden, S.C., beloved mother-in-law to Julie Price, Research Assistant to the Medical Affairs Committee. Mrs. Price was born and raised in the Charlotte-Thompson Community and was a graduate of the Camden High School of 1957 where she was the head majorette, voted female athlete of the year and a member of the State Championship basketball team. She had a passion for antiques and jewelry. Mrs. Price was a loving mother and doting grandmother of 12.
At 11:07 A.M., on motion of Senator CROMER, the Senate adjourned to meet next Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 12:00 Noon, under the provisions of Rule 1B.
