A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION - REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS BOARD, RELATING TO CONTINUING EDUCATION, PAYMENT OF FEES, APPRAISAL EXPERIENCE, AND APPRAISER APPRENTICE REQUIREMENTS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 4589, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The regulations of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation - Real Estate Appraisers Board, relating to Continuing Education, Payment of Fees, Appraisal Experience, and Appraiser Apprentice Requirements, designated as Regulation Document Number 4589, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

The South Carolina Real Estate Appraisers Board proposes to amend its regulations regarding continuing education, payment of fees, appraisal experience, appraiser apprentice requirements, and to make editorial changes.

The Notice of Drafting was published in the State Register on August 28, 2015. The Proposed regulation was published in the State Register on September 25, 2015.
