VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO RECOGNIZE AND CONGRATULATE MS. NANCY CAVE, NORTH COAST OFFICE DIRECTOR OF THE COASTAL CONSERVATION LEAGUE, FOR HER FIFTEEN YEARS OF SERVICE THAT HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO IMPROVING WATER AND AIR QUALITY, WILDLIFE ABUNDANCE, AND THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN COMMUNITIES ALONG THE SOUTH CAROLINA COAST, AND TO WISH HER MUCH SUCCESS IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly recognize Ms. Nancy Cave's tireless commitment to the citizens, environment, and wildlife in Georgetown and Horry Counties; and
Whereas, after more than twenty years working in international and domestic marketing, Ms. Cave turned her energy and passion to her South Carolina home; and
Whereas, working with citizens and elected officials, Ms. Cave helped protect the coast from offshore drilling in the south Atlantic; and
Whereas, Ms. Cave dedicated countless hours towards protecting South Carolina's waterways and drinking water supplies from coal ash pollution; and
Whereas, Ms. Cave furthered coastal protections by advocating for responsible beachfront management and retreat policies; and
Whereas, South Carolina citizens now know more about the importance of recycling because of Ms. Cave; and
Whereas, under her skillful leadership as the North Coast Office Director for the Coastal Conservation League, Ms. Cave helped protect the pristine Waccamaw Wildlife Refuge from negative environmental impacts associated with damaging projects; and
Whereas, Ms. Cave continues to focus on land use issues and further the cause of the Coastal Conservation League and the members of the Senate are pleased to honor her on fifteen years of outstanding service working to protect South Carolina's many resources. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly, by this resolution, recognize and congratulate Ms. Nancy Cave, North Coast Office Director of the Coastal Conservation League, for her fifteen years of service and wish her much success in all her future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. Nancy Cave.
