VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND THE HONORABLE KENNETH A. "KENNY" BINGHAM OF LEXINGTON COUNTY FOR HIS DEDICATED SERVICE IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ON BEHALF OF HIS CONSTITUENTS IN DISTRICT 89 AND THE CITIZENS OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND TO WISH HIM MUCH SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN ALL HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives learned with sincere regret that Representative Kenny Bingham will depart from the House of Representatives at the conclusion of his current term; and
Whereas, born in Cayce on August 3, 1962, he is the son of Marylynn and William Harold Bingham, Sr., and he earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of South Carolina in 1984; and
Whereas, Representative Bingham married his beloved wife, the former Jennie Lynn Pearce, on June 14, 1986, and together they have reared two fine children, Kayla McKenzie and Kellie Nicole; and
Whereas, when away from his duties in the House of Representatives, he is a civil engineer and the owner of American Engineering Consultants, Inc.; and
Whereas, an active and faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church, Representative Bingham serves the congregation as a deacon; and
Whereas, deeply involved in his community, he served as a member of the City of Cayce Planning Commission from 1994 to 1996 and as a member of the Lexington School District Two board of trustees from 1996 to 2000, serving as its chairman from 1998 to 2000; and
Whereas, Representative Bingham has faithfully served the citizens of District 89 in the House of Representatives since 2001, during which time he has served on the Ethics Committee as its chairman and on the Ways and Means Committee; and
Whereas, in all of his service, he has provided the members of the House of Representatives concise and steady counsel, born of a character of reliable integrity; and
Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives will miss the keen and thoughtful service that Kenny Bingham, their friend and colleague, has rendered to the House of Representatives, and hope that he will enjoy deep fulfillment in the years to come. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and commend the Honorable Kenneth A. "Kenny" Bingham of Lexington County for his dedicated service in the House of Representatives on behalf of his constituents in District 89 and the citizens of South Carolina and wish him much success and happiness in all his future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Honorable Kenneth A. "Kenny" Bingham.
