TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION - BUILDING CODES COUNCIL, RELATING TO BUILDING CODES COUNCIL, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 4501, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation - Building Codes Council, relating to Building Codes Council, designated as Regulation Document Number 4501, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
The South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Building Codes Council proposes to amend Regulations 8-115, 8-601, 8-602, 8-604, 8-607, and 8-613 generally and to update the regulations to comport with Act 179 from the 2013-2014 legislative session.
A Notice of Drafting was published in the State Register on September 26, 2014.
