TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING ARTICLE 2 TO CHAPTER 13, TITLE 60 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT WHO IS A CONSTABLE, RESERVE POLICE OFFICER, OR A VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER MAY ENTER THE STATE MUSEUM WITHOUT CHARGE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Chapter 13, Title 60 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
Section 60-13-110. A South Carolina resident who is a constable, reserve police officer, or a volunteer firefighter may enter the State Museum without charge upon presentation to the person in charge of the museum an identification card or badge that verifies that he is a constable, reserve police officer, or volunteer firefighter."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
