The club helped establish a similar program in York, as well; and

Other outgrowths of this partnership are an annual four-year scholarship program, the Leo Club, Mentoring & Lunch Buddies Program, Clover Choraliers, and International Youth Exchange Program (which initiated a travel scholarship). The Lions also established a foundation to receive and distribute bequests, with proceeds returning to the community. Further, the Lions have been honored by the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind, which named its River Hills Lions Art Room in honor of the club; and
Whereas, one of the South Carolina Lions Charitable Services' largest contributors, the River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club has undertaken Kidsight as its newest project. Members purchased two cameras to screen children of at least six months for six different eye issues that can be corrected if caught in time. This service is given in addition to the collection of used eyeglasses and payment for both new glasses and hearing aids as needed; and
Whereas, all these services to its community are only a partial list of those rendered by the River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club. Now, therefore,
