TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND DR. CARL J. BROGGI FOR HIS SERVICE AS PASTOR OF COMMUNITY BIBLE CHURCH IN BEAUFORT AND TO CONGRATULATE HIM ON THE TWENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS PASTORAL MINISTRY AT COMMUNITY BIBLE CHURCH.
Whereas, Dr. Carl J. Broggi was born on September 13, 1956, in Worcester, Massachusetts, the fifth son of eight children by Dr. and Mrs. Richard J. and Mary Ann Broggi; and
Whereas, while serving on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Dr. Broggi met his wife, Audrey McKay of Timmonsville, South Carolina. They married in 1980 and were blessed with five children; and
Whereas, Dr. Broggi earned a master of theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1988 and a doctorate of ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1990; and
Whereas, Dr. Carl J. Broggi and his family moved to Beaufort, South Carolina in 1990, where he became the senior pastor of Community Bible Church, faithfully preaching the word of God, ministering to, and serving the people of Beaufort County since that time. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate, by this resolution, recognize and commend Dr. Carl J. Broggi for his service as pastor of Community Bible Church and congratulate him on the twenty-fifth anniversary of his pastoral ministry at Community Bible Church.
