The Senate assembled at 11:00 A.M., the hour to which it stood adjourned, and was called to order by the ACTING PRESIDENT, Senator SCOTT.

On motion of Senator HAYES, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Ms. Mary Norman of Rock Hill, S.C. Ms. Norman was active in Woodland United Methodist Church and Bible Study Fellowship for many years. She was quick to offer an encouraging word, an ear to listen and a pound cake to sweeten the lives of those around her. Mary was a loving wife, devoted mother and doting grandmother who will be dearly missed.
MOTION ADOPTED
On motion of Senator GROOMS, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Mr. Otto M. Russell of Moncks Corner, S.C. Mr. Russell worked for a family business, Russell Timber Company. He later graduated from Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science in Texas and established his own funeral home, the Russell Funeral Chapel. He was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Moncks Corner. Mr. Russell was a president of Moncks Corner Jaycees, a member of Moncks Corner Lions Club and Moncks Corner Rotary Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Mr. Russell was a loving husband, devoted father and doting grandfather who will be dearly missed.
At 11:03 A.M., on motion of Senator CROMER, the Senate adjourned to meet next Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at 12:00 Noon.
